WORKSHOP ON NOSEBLEED (EPISTAXIS)

OBJECTIVE

To make the group attain knowledge about nosebleed and its management

A workshop was conducted on the topic epistatxis (nosebleed) for the teachers and support staff on 18/04/2018.

All the teachers attended the workshop. It started with narration of an incident of nosebleed . The definition, cause, types, signs and symptoms and the management was explained along with demonstration. The DONT’S were also explained.

The teachers also performed a return demonstration by enaction. Thus the workshop was very informative and increased their awareness.
