We arrive for a fun filled session …..
Students of Class V got an opportunity to observe the different rooms in the house where all models of planets add more to their knowledge, the students got a chance to see the models of various space shuttles used to travel into space and gadgets used to make observations and recordings.
The highlight of this visit was the show which the students watched in the sky-dome theater situated in the planetarium. The show was titled ‘Landing on Moon and Space programs.’ Students were shown animated astronaut movie in dome shaped Sky–Theatre. The video emphasized the challenges faced by astronauts during training on Earth and while staying in space. It featured information about planets, constellations, and specific objects such as globular clusters, open clusters, nebulae, pulsars, etc.
It was a very fruitful and enlightening trip that set many young minds aspiring to take up astronomy as a subject and learn more about the intriguing outer space.
