The 71st Republic Day of India was celebrated by the students of Class V on 21st January 2020 at Pearl School, Thumama Campus. Students warmly welcomed all the teachers and students. The assembly started with Quran Recitation and students pledged themselves to uphold the honour and integrity, diversity and uniqueness that is “India”.
This was followed by a melodious patriotic song sung by class 5 students. Students spoke eloquently about the importance of Republic Day and also about Dr.Ambedkar. It was then followed by a beautiful group dance by the students to show their love to the nation.
The group of students wore traditional dresses representing each state in India and their rich culture. Another set of students were dressed in tricolour attire to mark the occasion. Our Principal, Ms. Manjari Recriwal applauded the performance of the students and urged them to do their best and always feel proud to be an Indian.
