“The magic of a field trip isn’t the subject, but the break in routine.”
A filed trip to Burger King for Classes 2 &3 students was arranged on 10/01/19, 13/01/19 and 14/01/19 aims to connect the students to the real world and erase the classroom boredom. The trip was an opportunity to discuss and witness the various process involved in Burger preparation, the ingredients and various food menu available in the outlet. The chef and other service staffs well explained the different steps of burger making process and importance of hygiene which need to be maintained in the kitchen and other service areas. This helped to create awareness among students to keep the dining are neat and clean when they eat. Children learn about different professions like chef, bill clerk, bearers, cleaning staffs etc.
In addition to above knowledge based session, kids got a good time for fun. Many games were arranged which mainly helped the students to develop team building skills. One of the cartoon characters entertained the kids and they took some funny photos with the character. They enjoyed in the play area and games were organized by the Burger King team.
This Field Trip gave students educational experiences away from their regular school environment. They had a wholesome time filled with fun, laughter, music and food.
