The students of Class II of Thumama campus visited The National Museum of Qatar on 7th, 8th and 9th October. The museum’s wide gallery path tells us the story of Qatar through a special combination of architectural space, music, poetry, oral histories, evocative aromas, archeological and heritage objects. Children were excited to see varieties of flora, fauna and extinct species found in ancient Qatar. They got an idea of the life of Pearl divers of Qatar by seeing the objects on display, watching movies and doing many activities. They also came to know about the strong relationship of India and Qatar from time immemorial. It was a great learning experience for the students.
After the visit, a quiz was conducted based on what the students had seen and certificates were awarded to the winners.
