To encourage students to develop healthy eating habits and understand the importance of sharing and caring, Kitchen Day activity was conducted for the students of Class II.
Teaching kids to prepare their own food is as important as teaching them life skills. When kids learn to prepare food, they learn more than how to make a healthy meal.
Their confidence grows.
It gives them a sense of independence.
They feel responsible and try to help their mother in the kitchen in a small way.
With step by step instruction provided by the teacher, the students made sandwiches using a variety of healthy ingredients. They participated in the activity with a lot of enthusiasm and not only relished eating sandwiches they made but were also excited to share the sandwiches with their teachers and friends in school.
