Kaleidoscope-Story Narration Competition
It is rightly said, “After nourishment, shelter and companionship, stories are the thing that we need most in the world.” Stories give wings to our imagination and take us to places beyond the boundaries of our physical world and into the land of fairies, dragons and wishing trees. It is in our imagination that we embrace things and situations that we shy away from real world. Since time immemorial, storytelling has been an integral part of our childhood. To keep the tradition going and to incite curiosity and love for reading in children, Inter-Class Story Narration Competition was held for the students of class II on the 23rd June 2019.
The first round of audition took place on the 16th and 17th of June. Selected students participated in the final round. The students narrated different stories with great morals like Honesty is the best policy, Family is important than money, Taking care of environment, Be courageous, Hard Work is the key to success, Look before You leap, Time is precious etc. Most of them used props and narrated their stories confidently. It was a great learning experience for both the participants and non-participants.
