Theme: “Magnificent Me” Puppet making
Puppets allow children to develop creativity in two ways, firstly in the making and then in playing and storytelling. Students of Class II made “Myself” puppets using paper plates.
They drew their face and coloured it with attractive colours.
Using the puppets, the children gave their introduction and spoke about their likes, dislikes, hobbies and special talents. They were happy to share many interesting details about themselves. Some of the students, sang songs and narrated stories with the help of their puppets. This activity not only gave an opportunity to speak confidently but also made them feel that they are special and unique in many ways.
