Class 5A of Pearl School Thumama conducted an Assembly on 17.04.18 for Earth Day. The theme of the year 2018 “End Plastic Pollution” was chosen for the Assembly. The assembly compering was done by Sidra, verses from the Holy Quran was recited by Muqeet. The thought of the day was said by Aaryan and news of the day by Abia. The students took the earth day pledge and spoke about how plastic causes disruption to our world and how to protect the earth. They enlightened the audience on the types of plastics that should be used.
